I’m a certified teacher and a mom of two wonderful children, ages 13 and 15. I love helping young learners build strong literacy skills while discovering the joy of reading. Through engaging activities that focus on letter knowledge, phonics, decoding, and comprehension, I aim to spark curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
My Story
Reading has always been at the heart of who I am. I’ve always loved to learn, and as a published writer, I’ve seen firsthand the power of stories to inspire, teach, and connect us. Becoming a mom deepened my appreciation for the learning journey — its joys, its challenges, and the magic that happens when a child discovers something new.
With experience in kindergarten and early literacy, I’m passionate about helping young learners fall in love with reading. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to explore the world of stories.
For me, teaching isn’t just about letters and words; it’s about sparking curiosity, nurturing confidence, and guiding children to grow into confident, enthusiastic readers.
